8 hours flight…spilt red wine all over my white shirt 4 hours in…misplaced luggage at the airport…then missed our train. That was the start of our journey for Sara and Paul’s beautiful wedding in Florence. It could only get better from there.
Therese and Mayline (a.k.a. Joee’s Angels) flew out of Toronto with me on a red eye over to Rome. We have been talking about this wedding for quite some time now and my readers have been anxiously waiting to see the outcome of this wedding. I will just say, it was everything we had expected and more – an incredible celebration of love, lots of laughter and fantastic food.
I normally don’t post engagement photos, but here are some photos of my recent trip to London, England to photograph Cecilia and James’ destination engagement session. They will tie the knot here in Toronto, Canada in September, so you’ll hear more about them later when I blog their wedding.
Oh wow, it’s cold here in Toronto ! The weather has been all over the map these last few weeks and today is one of those ‘stay-at-home-and-keep-warm’ days. We are about to get about 30cm of snow in the next 48 hrs ! So, I shall kick off my first wedding blog post of 2013 with one of my all time favourite couples — Jolene and Wilton.
Throughout my nearly decade old career, I have had the pleasure to meet many people from all walks of life. Some of them I wish I had never met and some that really made an impact on me and helped shape the person that I am today. Last weekends wedding of Sarah and Cosimo was one of those amazing weddings where everyone I met had a story to share.
I first met Karyn and Bobby back in July, 2011 when we hooked up for a late drink/dinner to chat about THEM and how they ended up here — engaged and ready to make it ‘forever’. They had known each other since high school but had only been dating for about 5 years. It was one of those stories where they started off as friends and then, eventually, one of them made the move.
