Testimonial | Julia + Alvin

When I decided to pursue wedding photography on a full-time basis, there were two rules I laid out for myself:

Rule #1 – I make the rules.  I run the business how I want.  I decided who I associate myself with.

Rule #2 – Be extremely selective on the type of couples I work with and work only with those who understand what they are investing in.

I’ll be honest, I’ve made a few mistakes taking on couples I just wasn’t 100% sure about.  However, in the past 8 years of photographing professionally, 99% are like Julia and Alvin.  With their permission, I will share with you their wonderful notes that landed in my inbox shortly after their wedding.

I still meet couples that still ask me “What separates you from the rest of the photographers ?”  I, to this day, still do not know how to answer it properly.  Rather, I point them to my testimonial page so they can hear it straight from those who have experienced being around my team and I.  It’s hard to explain because it’s not tangible.

Thank you Julia and Alvin for taking time to write such a heartfelt note soon after your wedding.  It really means a lot to me (and the team).  If every couple expressed their feelings like you did, it would be impossible to retire.
